Universal lets you cancel free until five days before you arrive. We check your room every morning and email you when the price drops — you rebook it yourself on Universal’s site and keep the difference.
Leave the price blank to just follow it. If you have booked, use the total from your confirmation email — the one with tax in it, not the per-night figure Universal shows.
This is a real reservation — a standard room at Royal Pacific over Christmas, booked once and then rebooked every time the price fell. Same room, same nights, same hotel. Only the price changed.
Booked at $1,687.55 on August 15. By September 1 the same room was $1,451.35 — $236.20 less, a 14% drop, across six rebookings that each took about two minutes on Universal’s site.
Universal lets you cancel free until 6:00 PM five days before you arrive. After that, rebooking costs a night. We tell you when that window is closing — and once it shuts, we stop suggesting changes that would cost you more than they save.
We read Universal’s public rates and email you. We can’t see your reservation, change it, or book anything, and rebooking is always done on Universal’s own site. No account, no password, no card.
